Pass Word is a regional broadcast message art project based on Wi-Fi techonology. Theusers (we call that Passer)who participate in sending send the text message( Word), including Emoticons emoji directly to the selected geographical radio site on the client side ,whatever it is mobile photo or computer ,through the project website showpassword.net The people who around the base station can use the Wi-Fi search function on the smartphone to see the message which sent by all the passer.
Passer can chose the anonymity by themselves before sending. But it does not guarantee that the messages with the sensitive terms and violate the local laws and regulations can be send safely.
Pass Word is a sustainable art project. Based on the technical standards, technology advance, on the one hand, AT(Jiang Zhuyun + Zhu Huanjie) found the gap of the media communication of some social media in the internet industry , to keep the Pass Word project continue to develop under the premise of the open source of the internet industry; on the other hand, inside the art system, based on the system of the contemporary art, to make the Pass Word project extend to other industry with the attitude of intervention at any time so that to explore the possibility of “art popularization”.
