【现场】“征兆：邬建安新作展盛大开幕 2016-11-04 北京民生现代美术馆 北京民生现代美术馆 minshengartbj北京民生现代美术馆2016年11月4号下午4点， “征兆：邬建安新作展”在北京民生现代美术馆开幕。此次邬建安在美术馆的大型个展是北京民生现代美术馆“当代艺术家个案研究系列”的最新成果。展览由中国民生银行和北京民生现代美术馆联合主办，前波画廊协办，并由巫鸿担任策展人。 邬建安1980 年生出生于北京，于2005 年毕业于中央美术学院，获硕士学位并留校任教，现为中央美术学院实验艺术学院副教授，硕士生导师。他的作品曾先后参加了福冈亚洲美术馆、林肯郡博物馆、中央美院美术馆、华盛顿肯尼迪艺术中心、恭王府、波士顿美术馆、纽约大都会艺术博物馆等机构的展出。 在邬建安早期的作品中，他通过中国传统剪纸艺术对中西方神话和哲学进行了具有个人风格和当代文化想象的诠释。而此次展览，不仅呈现了其最为熟稔的创作媒材和风格的作品，同时他也将主题和媒材涉猎到更为广泛的领域。巫鸿介绍道：“邬建安的想象力总在几个维度上同时进行，他的作品也总在几个维度上同时刺激和扩展人们的艺术想象。他游走于文字和图像之间，在抽象与具象之上又加上一个叙事维度。他摆脱单纯的视觉和观看，因此引入了声音和演出。他驰骋于古今之间，把当下的人们在瞬息间带往诡谲奇邈的洪荒时代。他跨越媒材和风格：绘画、雕塑、剪纸、装置提供给他多样的语汇，但同时激起跨界、综合、打乱、超越的欲望。” 同时，巫鸿也对此次展览的主题进行了诠释。“《征兆》是神秘的：一些奇异现象出现了，预示着即将发生的巨大事件，或是天降灾祸或是朝代变换，甚至是人类和地球的终结。‘征兆’的思维逻辑超越文化和地域的分野，隐藏在古人的科学推理和政治哲学之中。但无论怎样它总是对未知和对将来的想象。在这一点上征兆与艺术——特别是与当代艺术有着值得思考的内在关系，因为艺术总是有关想象的，而真正的当代艺术总是为了通向未知和未来而创作。” 此次展览因此提供了一个连接神话世界与当代思考的契机。展览共展出近40件作品，全部为第一次展出，其中包括大型的仿真动物标本乐器装置。这些作品展现了传统艺术语言当代化的实践成果，凸显其在当代文化语境中的独特价值和别具一格的视觉魅力。其中四件作品的主题在中国文化和艺术中都有着数千年的历史根源：这里有“与天地争神”的无头巨人刑天，有《山海经》中身发异声的奇形动物，有“眉间尺”传说的惨烈结局，也有由汉代“摇钱树”化出的“白日梦树林”。犹如文化的基因， 这些故事与形象在这个展览中被邬建安的当代艺术作品再次激活。” >> Read more
