VIP visitors gathered this morning at Art Plural gallery for brunch in honor of a new solo exhibition by Fabienne Verdier. The artist was on site to explain her dramatic painting technique, which uses a huge brush launched on an elastic band from the ceiling. One suspects that housing these not inexpensive works with collectors within striking range requires a somewhat less energetic sales technique.
