“Borderless” is an exploration of how our perceptions of the world around us are affected by the physical, social, and psychological borders imposed on us daily. Zhou Wendou has created a series of installations specifically for the space, which immerse the audience within his world.
“I hope that through using borders to create a borderless space, the lines between fantasy and reality will become blurred. What you are seeing is not necessarily real, and this will allow the audience to see the world as I see it; to become immersed in the same kind of anxiety.” —Zhou Wendou
