Platform China (Beijing) will present “Abyss: Jin Shan Solo Exhibition”, which will display the artist’s paintings and video works.

In this show, all the paintings are created under no prior composition and ideas, they are abstract, simple, direct and violent; it makes the painting dark and depressing. And video works are focused on the violence intensification and body pain. This is how Jin Shan explain the exhibition theme “Abyss” : ” the theme of this exhibition is do not want to live, there is no way to live, either you die or I die.”
