“All About Hong Kong”

Ho Fan’s nostalgic black-and-white images of old Hong Kong are an eternal classic. Michael Wolf outsider’s point of view on Hong Kong’s back alleys offers an interesting contrast to Kwan Kam Cheong’s darker and emotionally laden insider’s perspective. Almond Chu reflects on the collective behavior of our citizens; while Romain looks at Hong Kong from below with an innovative and impressive angle. Marcel’s mirrored urban landscape explores contradictions between decay and renewal. Andreas explores the city’s most important feature; its waters. While lastly Hui Kam Yat is creative with the media itself; the camera; Yat will showcase his handmade wooden pinhole camera and the photographic memories he captured with it. Alfred Ko’s works are particularly context-sensitive and history-conscious; whereas Chun Wai highlights the relaxing and festive atmosphere of Rugby Seven.
