Gathering Clouds will present a total 16 works including Non-Object series as well as wall mounted sculptures from his series Gathering Clouds. This is the first time showing these works together. The small twists fabricated from stainless steel are displayed on plinths and the larger ones will be placed on the floor of the gallery.

Kapoor was born in 1954, Bombay, India, and immigrated to England in 1972 where he studied sculpture at the Chelsea School of Art Design. Influenced by minimalism and driven by the idea of reducing a basic vocabulary to focus more on the essence of an object, the artist formed his own oeuvre based on simple geometrical shapes and organic forms.

Anish Kapoor represented Britain in the 44th Venice Biennale in 1990, winning the Premio Duemila. Kapoor was also awarded The Turner Prize, Britain’s most prestigious art award in1991. Kapoor has installed an enormous installation in the garden of the Palace of Versailles in 2015. His works such as Marsyas (2002) at the Tate Modern, London, and the public installation Cloud Gate (2006) in Chicago are widely known. His work can be found in many prominent public collections, notably the Museum of Modern Art (New York), the Tate Modern (London), Fondazione Prada (Milan), and the Guggenheim (Bilbao).
