Encyclopedia of Vibration Part II

On January 12, 2013, Lore Vanelslande, the Belgian artist, will have her third solo exhibition ENCYCLOPEDIA OF VIBRATION PART II in the Don Gallery. This solo exhibition will complete the ENCYCLOPEDIA OF VIBRATION PART I  which took place in Belgium earlier. After God is a Circle, her solo show,  ENCYCLOPEDIA OF VIBRATION projected on the new topics as the new changes and evolution, the exchange of energy and the information of universe. Lore began to try different materials and became more versatile on shape.

ENCYCLOPEDIA OF VIBRATION PART II continues Lore’s sacred geometry and imbed her numbers, passwords and various philosophical and religious thinking, which is the core concept of her creation. Lore works essentially on the same concept. This exhibition gives vibration an encyclopedic explanation and graphical understanding. Sacred geometry as a symbol, which represents  the law of vibration of the movement of objects, and has close ties with music and mathematics. Abstractly, either color or music vibration, we can feel visually and auditorily. Lore’s paintings also shows the harmonious energy field of geometric lines and graphics with which the audience interact through sight to the brain on the same rythm. This makes Lore’s works pass a sense of space and the path of ascetic and Zen to us. Lore personally hopes her work will bring a moment of happiness to you.

Graduated from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Ghent, Belgium, in 2007, Lore Vanelslande came to Shanghai in 2009 to begin her artistic creation. Currently she lives and works in Shanghai and Ghent, Belgium. Don Gallery in 2009 and 2010 held two exhibitions Personal Data and God is a Circle. In recent years, her work is frequently exhibited in Shanghai, Beijing, Brussels, Antwerp, Ghent and New York.
