V-Art Center is pleased to present artist Ma Haijiao, Liu Yi, Yuan Keru’s latest video works in September 9th, 2015. All three of them are currently graduate students in China Academy of Fine Arts, Studio of Experimental Image Media. They explore how consciousness motivates filtration and return through creation, respectively in the form of multi-screen video installation, single-screen video and experimental animation. Their works assert themselves. “Consciousness is usually floating, perceiving the world, drifting in the cerebral cortex, and return to self-meditation. Creation of video works could originate from instantaneous consciousness, it could also originate from subconsciousness. It’s about fantasies, about dreams, sediment slowly in time, in gaps between reality and non-reality.”
