“The Gallery” is a utopian virtual gallery created by the artist Wang Xin, which presents a paradox with the real gallery. It attempts to break the rules of the real art system, and set their own rules of the game – any artist, any work can be shown without going through the screening of galleries / art spaces / art museums as long as it does not violate the law. The prerequisite is that“The Gallery” is demonstrated as an artist’s project by another gallery / art space / art museum or otherinstitutions. Currently, there are already more than 100artists that have been demonstrated almost without any screening. Unfortunately, “The Gallery” still cannot completely avoid careful screening of each opening project. It is considered as a bug in the operation of “The Gallery”.

Therefore, in order to realize “fully independent full mechanical intelligence”, in this project, Wang Xin hopes to interpret the concepts and propositions of “The Gallery” in a virtual way, focusing on how the system of galleries is operated, designed and developed, so that it can become the “perfect agency” for artists
