For their third solo exhibition at Almine Rech Gallery, Ida Tursic and Wilfried Mille will present a new series of paintings. The exhibition will focus on landscapes and portraits that question the contemporary overload of images and their relationship with pictorial representation.
Ida Tursic (b. in 1974 in Belgrade, Serbia) and Wilfried Mille (b. in 1974 in Boulogne-sur-Mer, France) live and work in Dijon, France. Since 2010, the duo have been presented several times at Almine Rech Gallery. Their recent and upcoming solo and group exhibitions include ‘De Leur Temps’, IAC – Institut d‘Art Contemporain Villeurbanne, France (2016); MUMO – Mobile Museum, France (2015); ‘Un mural, des tableaux’, Le Plateau, FRAC Ile-de-France, Paris (2014); ‘The Deer’, Le Consortium, Dijon, France (2011); ‘Decade’, FRAC Auvergne, Clermont-Ferrand, France (2011); and ‘It Was The Dirty End of Winter’, Musée des Beaux-Arts de Dôle, Dôle, France (2010).
