Lu Chao : Black Forest

Hadrien de Montferrand Gallery is pleased to invite you to the opening of Lu Chao’s new exhibition — Black Forest. Black Forest is the first solo show of the artist in Beijing.

Lu Chao (b.1988) is graduated from the oil painting department of Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing (2012) and is currently studying at the Royal College of Art in London.

His black & white world concentrates on a reflection about crowds, expansion, mass, identity, anxiety and humor. A body of 40 works depicts daily objects and human crowd to form a bittersweet narrative.
