It is our pleasure to open the new season 2018/19 with the exhibition Soft Bullet In(n). Summer’s fading out – a hue of melancholy and the quest for ostensibly ‘charged batteries’ alternates with accumulated excitement and joy for the coming. A nice feeling that we want to trace in the exhibition…
A soft-start. An exhibition from the gallery’s program that develops in the course of time – some works are created in situ, others will be only added later and maybe spontaneously to the initially shown work. Dialogue and sounding board. Doubt, criticism, earnestness, escapism, and humor in equal amounts. The exhibition will revolve around exhaustion and resistance, but also around maintaining a point, utopia, potential, dignity, and desire.
Certainly, there will be dissonances – but this is part of the game…
