Amy Li Gallery

Amy Li Gallery, founded in 2008, originally named as Dialogue Space. In 2013, the gallery relocated to a new space in Caochangdi Art District, therefrom started using the name of Amy Li Gallery.

The gallery is devoted to supporting and promoting emerging artists, also cooperates with numerous outstanding artists. During six dedicated years focused on presenting ingenious and multicultural artworks with an emphasis on both artistic and market value, the gallery has accompanied and witnessed the development of contemporary art in China. Our co-operative artists gradually come to be well known: Li Jikai who creates a solitary and melancholy world in his works – one of the representative artists of chinese contemporary art; Ma Dan, whose works remind us of “primitivism” style like Henri Rousseau; Guo Jian who explores passionately the concept of painting between figuration and abstraction; and Marc Desgrandchamps, one of the representative artists of post-modern figural art. As well as numerous outstanding artists such as Chen Zhiguang, Guan Wei, He Duoling, Liu Liyun, Lü Peng, Ma Yanling, Peng Wei, Ru Xiaofan, Wang Jinsong, Xu Zhongmin, Ye Funa, Ye Yongqing, Yin Zhaoyang, Yu Fan, Zhang Qikai and Zhou Xianglin, etc.

The Gallery achieved a distinctively fresh gallery style through its fast standing progressive spirit and acute sensors, and aims to pursue its mission, which is to provide a platform for contemporary art beyond cultural boundaries. And by extending further through its long term involvement supporting a diverse roster of visionary emerging artists.

The gallery also actively organises exhibition projects with chinese and international art institutions, museums as well as galleries, and participates in several important international art fairs every year. Besides, Amy Li Gallery is also vice-chairman unit of Art Gallery Association Beijing.
