Galerie Paris-Beijing

From 2006, Galerie Paris-Beijing has been involved in discovering and promoting a new generation of Asian artists with the opening of their first exhibition space in Beijing. In 2009, a second gallery was opened in Paris and in 2012, a third gallery was set up in Brussels, in a superb Horta’s building.

On the 29th of November 2014, Galerie Paris-Beijing moves to a new space in Paris at 62, rue de Turbigo, in the Haut-Marais area.

The aim of widen the gallery surface comes with the desire of presenting large-scales exhibitions. The 400 m2 of the new Parisian gallery allows an extended programme including sculptures, installations and video art. Keeping with its focus on the Asian art scene, the gallery opens its boundaries and presents new projects showing, for example, the work of the American group Ghost of a Dream or the Australian artist Alex Seton.

Passionate and vibrant, the new Galerie Paris-Beijing welcomes external curatorial projects and solo exhibitions based on the discovery of emerging artists. An award for Asian video and digital art will be soon created.

Galerie Paris-Beijing also develops its editorial work by publishing artist’s catalogues and art books and by opening a book shop space and an e-shop.

Ultimately, the gallery bears witness to the richness of Asian contemporary creation through its collection, and is pleased to offer its expertise to new as well as established collectors.
