Art Stage Jakarta Officially Launches Inaugural Edition

Art Stage Jakarta will launch its inaugural edition from 5 to 7 August 2016 at the Sheraton Grand Jakarta Gandaria City. The first art fair in Indonesia of international format, Art Stage Jakarta will present 50 galleries, juxtaposing the country’s best contemporary art with selections from Southeast Asia, greater Asia, and the West. A premium boutique art fair, Art Stage Jakarta is the sister fair of Southeast Asia’s flagship art event, Art Stage Singapore; it will reflect the vision and dynamism of contemporary Indonesian art and strengthen the local art scene with its international standards and industry expertise through Founder & President, Lorenzo Rudolf, former Director of Art Basel and creator of Art Basel Miami Beach.

Art Stage Singapore, Southeast Asia’s international flagship art fair and the anchor event of the Singapore Art Week, will continue to be held in January. The seventh edition of Art Stage Singapore will take place from 12 to 15 January 2017 (Vernissage, 11 January) at the Marina Bay Sands Exhibition and Convention Center.
