A talk and teachers’ workshop on British artist Antony Gormley’s public art installation Event Horizon Hong Kong.
Taking Gormley’s installation as a case study, this Teaching Labs programme aims to help participants understand and analyse the cultural issues surrounding the project.

Target: Teachers from all disciplines are welcome (Liberal Studies, Visual Arts teachers, and cultural educators in particular). The talk is also open to students and the public.
Exploring Event Horizon Hong Kong through ideas around ‘public art’, ‘urban space’, and ‘body and the surrounding’, the talk delves into the meaning and function of public art in Hong Kong and beyond.
