West Bund Art & Design Announces Gallery List for Its 2018 Edition

The fifth edition of West Bund Art & Design will take place from 8 to 11 November, 2018, in Hall A of the West Bund Art Center and the newly constructed Hall N. Located directly across from Hall A, Hall N offers nearly 10,000 square meters of exhibition space. This year, nearly 90 leading international galleries from 38 cities across Asia, Europe, and North America will present the highest caliber of contemporary art.

With a strong selection of returning exhibitors, the 2018 edition welcomes 35 galleries to participate in the main section for the first time: 303 Gallery, A+ Contemporary, bonacon gallery, The Breeder, Carlos/Ishikawa, Contemporary Fine Arts, Galerie Chantal Crousel, Each Modern , Gagosian, Xavier Hufkens, Kayne Griffin Corcoran, Galerie Peter Kilchmann, K鰊ig Galerie, Galerie Krinzinger, Kukje Gallery, kurimanzutto, Simon Lee Gallery, MadeIn Gallery, Matthew Liu Fine Arts, Meyer Riegger, M Art Center, Marlborough Fine Art, kamel mennour, P21, Peres Projects, Galerie Eva Presenhuber, Almine Rech Gallery, Galerie Thaddaeus Ropac, ROSSI & ROSSI, SILVERLENS, Spr黷h Magers, Galerie Templon, Axel Vervoordt Gallery, WENTRUP, and Michael Werner Gallery.

The ArtReview Asia Xiàn Chǎng section will again showcase cutting-edge works by international artists in designated public spaces inside and outside the fair. Many of the works in this section are commissioned especially for the venue or are exhibited for the first time in the region. Participating galleries and artists will be announced later this year. As per the tradition, West Bund Art & Design will also offer a special prize for this section.

During the week of the fair, major museums, galleries, and art spaces around Shanghai will bring together a series of exciting programs, including the 12th Shanghai Biennale. The second week of November in Shanghai has now become a major moment in the global art calendar.
