Serious art collectors at Basel generally only go to Art Basel and museums, with one exception, and that’s LISTE. Now in its 20th year, it is billed as the “Young Art Fair” and it is indeed that—the very place to see the bleeding edge, even if some art is edgier than others. So if you don’t make into Art Basel Statements, then this is the place for you! But beware, it’s up or out. The older a gallery gets, the more often it participates, the more it has to pay!

Anyway, we stopped by briefly to see what was going on. And this is what we liked best.

Mario Pfeifer “Blacktivist” 2015, two channel 4K video installation, color, stereo, 5’18″ (KOW Berlin). The TV installation by Hiwa K was equally good.
