A unique chance to support the art of sound and Listening

Since its founding in 2008, soundpocket has laid the foundation for the development of sound art in Hong Kong. At the time, soundpocket was the only organization that profiles sound as an artform that plays a determining role in art making. Artists they supported and have worked with include Akio Suzuki (JP), Yan Jun (CN), Mike Cooper (UK), Donna Ong (SG), Tang Kwok-hin (HK), Cedric Maridet (HK), Phoebe Hui (HK), and many more.

Today, the idea has not only become familiar to artists, but the importance of listening has also penetrated public culture.

Venue sponsor Easy Pack Creative Precinct is a locally run factory-building-turned-art-hub which houses more than 20 independent design and art groups

Programmes for the night include sound art installation Shadow Walk by Viv Corringham, and performances by local jazz quintet Mo-Men-T and Bass Vader. There will also be a charity sale of collectible artists-remade SHURE headphones.
