Davidoff Art Dialogues in Beijing
Davidoff Art Dialogues on “Art collecting in China” to take place in Hong Kong
and Beijing, in collaboration with the Ullens Center for Contemporary Art
The Davidoff Art Initiative has announced its upcoming events and programs for 2014. Launched in 2012, the Davidoff Art Initiative aims to support contemporary art and artists in the Caribbean and Dominican Republic and foster cultural engagement between the Caribbean and the rest of the world. The Art Initiative is built on the importance of giving back to the cultural community where many employees and much of the production of Davidoff Cigars are still located.
The second Davidoff Art Dialogue hosted in collaboration with Beijing’s Ullens Center for Contemporary Art will take place in Beijing at the UCCA on May 10, 2014. Moderated by Philip Tinari, UCCA’s Beijing-based director, this panel discussion is entitled, “The Collector as Patron,” the second in a series on “Art Collecting in China.”
