MONDRIAANHUIS, AMERSFOORT
JUNE 10 – OCTOBER 9, 2016

This is the first European solo exhibition of the Chinese artist, Liu Ye in the Mondriaanhuis in Amersfoort. Liu Ye’s admiration of Mondriaan dates back to 1980 at the Beijing School of Arts and Crafts where he was first introduced to De Stijl and Mondriaan. The exhibition is drawn from collections in Asia, Europe and North American from various periods of Liu Ye’s work and shows his deeply rooted admiration of the Dutch master of abstract art.
