Gallery 55 is please to announce that Su Xiangpan’s new solo show “Pacing in the Wilderness” will be open on the 12th of May 2018. Twenty pieces of oil works on canvas of various sizes created between 2015 and 2018 will be on display till the 10th of June. This is Su Xiangpan’s 3rd solo exhibition at Gallery 55 in Shanghai since 2014.

“Pacing in the Wilderness” is a continuation of Su Xiangpan’s last solo exhibition titled “A Fuzzy Decision”. “A Fuzzy Decision” was carried out based on the nature of uncertainty, and continued to build into “Pacing in the Wilderness”. The “wilderness” is more like a carrier to the artist. The relationship between the artist and his works is like pacing. The creation is not the purpose of the artist, but a part of his communication with himself.
