In a post-internet age, people can find information or images to easily associate with the self. Through thisdeceitful and even to some extent, an illegal method of self-marketing, we realize that this type of behavior must conform to an audience within a virtual society in order to gain appreciation and recognition without any moral awareness. Fulfilling such a criteria set by our own society will provide us with a sense of belonging. The Yang Kai exhibition at de Sarthe Project Space will attempt to investigate the process of virtual identities gradually molding and assimilating into our psychological and even our physical spaces.
