Nathan Zhou solo show: “Henri Chinaski’s Short Stories Collection”

Aike Dellarco is glad to announce Nathan Zhou’s solo show “Henri Chinaski’s Short Stories Collection”. The works in the exhibition are his most recent pieces, specifically made on-site for the gallery space. As a “novelist”, Nathan Zhou adopts the methodology of novel writing and applies to art making and graffiti improvisation. He categorizes his observation and thoughts about his own daily life into various aspects and accomplished these “short stories” in the style of stream of consciousness. Being his first “literature work”, its “launching ceremony” will be held at 2pm, December 18th (Sunday).

Nathan Zhou was born in Guangdong. He graduated from Guizhou University in English Language and Literature in 2004. He currently works and lives in Shanghai. He has held solo exhibition “Jericho” in Shanghai V Space in 2016 and participated in many group shows:  “Snacks”, Power Station of Art, Shanghai, 2016; Almost Art, Tabula Rasa Gallery, Beijing, 2016; “Space In Mind: Animamix Biennale 2015-2016”, MOCA, Shanghai, 2016; “We: A Community of Chinese Contemporary Artists”, chi K11 Art Space, Shanghai, 2016; “The 2nd CAFAM Future Exhibition”, Central Academy of Fine Arts, Beijing, 2015; “John Moores Painting Prize (China) Exhibition”, Shanghai Himalayas Museum, 2014; “Get Louder”, Sanlitun Orange Hall, Beijing, 2014; “Studio”, M50 Art Space, Shanghai, 2013.
