Uttaporn Nimmalaikaew “Dukkha: The Imagery of Suffering”

本届艺术登陆新加坡艺博会上，泰国艺术家Uttaporn Nimmalaikaew层层叠叠的丝绸绘画装置引起了我的注意，画在丝绸帷帐上的透明立体作品看上去怪异、沉闷又令人眼晕。让人想到夏小万（1959年生）用玻璃叠层制作的装置。不过，夏的作品给人带来的是生理上的扭曲和刺激，Uttaporn的作品给人的感觉则是困倦，是记忆的载体，也是意识的尘埃。有时，这种敏感不免伤感而又陈俗，例如他的《仙女》（Fairy）。然而，他的每件作品的绘制都是极尽精细，是对记忆的投入，诉说着每个人，每天为了对抗遗忘而进行的仪式，也是为了对抗消亡而设立的标记。尽管如此，这些绘画仍然宛如面纱，它们由生活的彩丝编织，却又将其剥离，虽精美至极却是浮花浪蕊。
