9月14日，Lévy Gorvy画廊纽约将为著名概念艺术家和哲学家安德里安·派普举办其在本画廊的首次个展。本次展览将展出出自“神秘存在系列（1973-1975）”、“这只是艺术（1980）”系列中的作品和构思于2008年，首次在Lévy Gorvy画廊纽约得以实现的装置作品“此地”。三组作品共同探讨了艺术家艺术生涯中一直研究的相互关联的主题：自我主体观念的形成、个人身份的认同、种族和性别、种族主义、性别歧视、仇外情结和政治责任的竞争观念。
在其60年的艺术生涯之中，派普不知疲倦地致力于剥离可见性和沟通的文化规范的国别性，将其置于具有引发改革潜在性的尖锐批评之下。本次展览特此设立了一个多媒体区，在此观者可以进行观看和被观看、识别和被识别，从而在派普所谓的“索引现在”的此时此刻中揭示自我。
