马乐伯画廊荣幸呈献美国著名雕塑家乔治·里奇（1907-2002)作品展，此次展出的乔治·里奇遗产基金会私人收藏的16件雕塑作品是首次于伦敦，亦是自1982年后在英国的首次亮相。
作为一名具有影响力的标志性雕塑家，乔治·里奇的作品曾于世界各大重要美术馆中展出，其创造的动态雕塑得益于他在二战时期作为美国空军工程师与一系列材质打交道的经历。工作中所涉及的机械技术、对气流改变的熟悉，以及对弹道学的影响促使乔治·里奇的创作从绘画转向了雕塑。
乔治与亚历山大·考尔德被认为是20世纪中叶将动态雕塑带入美国的开拓者，而且他还是首位创作了户外特定作品的艺术家，并以与自然元素相辅相成的不锈钢雕塑而被世人所熟知。
