MAP Office：稻谷炼狱

MAP Office，来自香港的艺术家/建筑师二人组，致力于探索特殊材料的创作可能性。此次，他们将在UCCA展出装置作品《秸秆炉》，用不寻常的材料——“秸秆”来解析消费景观，呈现出一个矛盾空间。这件作品外观颇具规模，内置一组双频录像，播放记录小麦生长周期的影片。在此作品中，“小麦”被拟定为最根源的马克思商品，艺术家藉此探讨资本主义和农业之间的微妙关系。《秸秆炉》原是MAP Office为2012第一届基辅双年展而构思创作，其首次展出是在以农业为经济基础的乌克兰。
