约瑟夫·亚伯斯:阳光至上
[新闻稿]

卓纳画廊伦敦首个约瑟夫·亚伯斯个展将采用新颖和独特的方式向抽象大师致敬,以自始至终贯穿于艺术家作品的一种颜色的作品为主线。“阳光至上”个展独辟蹊径,从艺术家50年艺术创作中精选了黄色为主,体现艺术家作品意蕴无穷的颜色和光彩特色的作品。

约瑟夫·亚伯斯对色彩的热爱归功于德国浪漫诗人歌德。彼时身为年轻艺术家的亚伯斯拥有歌德早期的一本著作《颜色论》(1810),在这本书中,诗人这样写道:“……光闪闪丝绸上的一抹深黄……看上去华丽而高贵。黄色之于我们,有温暖舒适之感。绘画中亦如此,这是一种色泽明亮、充满活力的颜色……我们的眼因触及这种颜色而喜,从而心花怒放,情绪激昂,心底立刻泛起一股暖意。”(出自《歌德文选第12册》)
