NCAF open call for application for funding

Funding for non-profit art space has been an important part of NCAF’s work since its foundation. Based on the profound cooperation with 11 spaces in 2014, NCAF (New Century Art Foundation) will continue to support non-profit art space’s projects and publications in 2015, looking forward to seeing culture exchanges between international artists and local artists, the local art practice and reflections, the training program for young curators, artist’s exploration in the non-conventional spaces, and the integration of the theoretic knowledge about video art.

In the mean time, NCAF will provide funding for innovative exhibitions / projects held at non-profit art space.

Eligibility criteria:
The finished project must be non-profit and take place in non-profit space in Mainland China.
The project needs to be feasible within the budget presented.
The project must be completed within 2015.

Apply for funding
1. Applicant’s name and contact (cell phone number and email address)
2. Project timeline / location
3. Project proposal (max 1000 characters)
4. List of participated artists
5. Relevant work images (10 images, 300dpi,each image size no larger than 2M)
6. A detailed project budget
7. Have you received any funding from third parties before? If so, please list the name of the third parties, year and funding amount.

Funding priorities:
NCAF Fund priories innovative and experimental projects that reflect independent art creation / curatorial concept; projects that challenge or break from the existed museum and gallery models.

NCAF Fund priories projects that can influence and develop local art community, especially projects that foster creativity, art criticism and intellectual discussion.

Once selected, successful applicants will be announced on the NCAF website: www.ncartfoundation.org.
