PRESS RELEASE: Art13 London is the capital’s new art fair for Modern and Contemporary art, presenting a truly global perspective and showcasing art from 1945 to the present day. With over 70% of galleries exhibiting at an art fair in London for the very first time, this is the most eagerly anticipated art fair in over a decade.

The first edition will showcase over 120 leading galleries from 30 different countries and here you will find over a thousand paintings, sculptures, multi-media installations and a special focus on prints and editions as well as photography.

Art13 Projects

Discover over 15 large-scale sculptures and installations made by some of the most exciting Contemporary artists working around the world today. Each piece is chosen to surprise and delight as well as to showcase the best in global Contemporary art.

Art13 Performances

Art13 London presents a curated programme of Contemporary performance artists, including Bedwyr Williams and Helena Hunter. Performances will take place throughout the Fair and range from a live drawing following the movement of ballet dancers through to a dysfunctional pop group playing home-made instruments.

Art13 Talks

A series of talks and discussions will take place at Art13 London. One strand of talks will explore the changing role of collectors, private museums and emerging centres of art production. It will feature high-profile international collectors as speakers. There will be a range of talks taking place during the Fair. The Positive View Foundation will host a Panel discussion chaired by curator Charlotte Cotton, a lively exchange about the inspiring history of photography projects in the UK and the potential for future innovation in educational and community-based photographic initiatives.
All talks are free.

Art13 Tours

Contemporary Key is hosting a series of guided tours, free of charge, throughout the Fair enabling visitors an opportunity to meet the gallerists while exploring the Fair and demystifying selected works.

Saatchi Gallery Bookshop

Art13 London is delighted to partner with the Saatchi Gallery Store as the Fair’s official Bookshop. The Saatchi Gallery Store (Stand A1) will offer a wide range of books and merchandise focusing on contemporary art as well as limited edition prints by emerging and established artists including Boris Mikhailov, Marc Quinn and Yelena Popova.
