Jing ZHENG：Semi-reality Object
For the 6th project show of YELLOW.ANTS.ART.LAB, Jing ZHENG will present her installation entitled “Semi-reality object”.
“Semi-reality object” is a photo documentation of record from 15 September 2012 to 10 March 2013 by Jing ZHENG. A tree the artist passes by everyday columns in this society in a corner. To what extent is its existence true? On 15 September 2012, Jing ZHENG used black paint to paint the whole tree by chance. Then Jing ZHENG took daily shots from the same angle. As a spectator, Jing ZHENG recorded the whole process.
Jing ZHENG was born in China in 1985. She graduated from the Faculty of Painting, SiChuan Academy of Art with a Bachelor’s degree in 2008. She obtained her M.F.A. from same Faculty in 2012. Jing ZHENG was also one of the receivers of LuZhongLi Prize in 2012. She was invited by ChenDu Biennale to participate earlier this year.
