OnLAB
Michel Paysant
OnLAB (the laboratory for new works) designed by the artist Michel is a Paysant research project at the confluence of art, material sciences and technology. He enabled the creation of highly innovative art in nanoscale and microscopic carried out in collaboration with scientists and Giancarlo Faini Christian Ulysses Laboratory of Photonics and Nanostructures (LPN) of CNRS. The new exposure from this collaboration, OnLAB – Museum of dust was designed as an interactive device. Produced by the French Institute, it is intended to move abroad with the support of the French cultural network outside. At the same time ,we invited a variety of discuss within the extension.

Michel Paysant focuses on the limits of knowledge of a work on the scale of perception alone retinal. Collaborating with scientists LPN, he produced works inspired by architecture, original collection of the Louvre as well as standards of modern art, and created original to unprecedented scales contemporary pieces. The exhibition, conceived as a interactive device, allows the visitor to activate “tiny grains of gold dust sculpted: Artworks Nano1 “and become aware of vertigo scales. The exposure consists of two modules.
