Kyle Skor (b. 1983, Saint Paul) is an American artist who works primarily in mixed media and gouache. In 2005 he graduated with his Bachelor of Arts degree from Williams College, and then continued on to pursue doctoral work in developmental psychology at Harvard, where he was a recipient of a Presidential Fellowship. After receiving his masters‘ degree, he chose to discontinue his doctoral study in order to pursue his own work in the visual arts, exploring similar issues of the individual-society conundrum, border crossing, and forces underpinning developmental trajectories. In recent years his work outside the US has been in group shows in South Korea, Australia, China, and Malaysia. The current show at Ying Gallery is his third solo show of work in Beijing.
