Join us for a light reception on Friday, 12 December 2014, 6 – 9pm as Realism & Fiction is officially launched. Located at ShanghART Gallery Singapore, the exhibition will be open to public from 12th December 2014 to 4th January 2015. See you!

ShanghART Singapore is pleased to announce Realism & Fiction group exhibition from 12th December to 4th January 2015, exhibiting photography artworks from Chen Xiaoyun, Geng Jianyi, Jiang Pengyi, Yang Fudong and Zhu Jia, along with selected video works. “All photographs are memento mori. To take a photograph is to participate in another person’s (or thing’s) mortality, vulnerability, mutability. Precisely by slicing out this moment and freezing it, all photographs testify to time’s relentless melt.”― Susan Sontag. It is photographs that make us possess reality and illusion, the present and the past at the same time. At the moment time melt,
perhaps one can complete an unrealistic reconstruction.
