Event description |
STPI ends the year by revisiting the print and papermaking explorations of artists who challenge assumptions and expectations of the contemporary “Chinese” aesthetic. Featuring works by Hong Zhu An, Lin Tianmiao, Qiu Zhijie, Zhu Wei and the conceptualist duo Wu Shanzhuan & Inga Svala Thorsdottir, this exhibition looks at the ways in which these artists have bent and broken away from the mould in their artistic pursuits, commenting on society and the world through creative methods and individual visual expressions. |
